Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 09, 2017 9:33 am Hi we are just to enter into a contract with a building company but am concerned about the site cost allowance $50K, the soil report states that the site is a P (because of some trees which we are having removed) and a waffle slab is recommended. the land has never been built on and is quite flat, builder is suggesting a water pump be installed at a cost of $5k on top of estimated site costs, i am really concerned as the allowance is there that they will us it all, it is a coastal town where we are building a 29sq home.
