Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 08, 2008 12:18 am Hi All,
The hebel is starting to go up at our PD build - I have updated our blog and will post pics of the hebel this weekend. http://windsor42.blogspot.com/ Starting to regret the hebel choice.... a few issues with overhang on the slab rebate on the left hand side, some panels not flush and a few damaged panels patched up already. (shiver) - I've sent a long ranty email with photos to our CSR - let the games begin! (and not just in Beijing). One positive note - you are all invited to Debbie's exhibition Feel free to drop by and purchase one of her wonderful works to decorate your new homes! Details of the exhibition are on the blog and you can view her work on her site http://www.debbierobinson.com.au if you are interested! Re: PD Hebel - here we go 2Aug 08, 2008 6:47 pm Spoke with the SS today - promises to fix the hebel issues and alignment of lounge window - fingers crossed!
The experience though has convinced me to engage an independant building inspector, spoken with Kevin today and he's booked in for 2 weeks time to do the pre-plaster inspection. Re: PD Hebel - here we go 3Aug 08, 2008 6:54 pm I will be following the hebel-ing of your house very closely. Am considering it for our home build, but a bit nervous as it seems to be less than common!
Best of luck! Damo Visit my blog: http://damosbitofblog.blogspot.com/ Re: PD Hebel - here we go 4Aug 09, 2008 1:02 pm Pictures of the Hebel are now up on our blog. Can we build it? Yes we can ! http://windsor42.blogspot.com/ Original Artworks http://www.debbierobinson.com.au I was looking at different options for a fence for my build and Hebel PowerFence seemed like a good option (one of the criteria was a solid wall look). However, I don't… 0 5902 1 6630 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6191 |
