Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 27, 2018 5:05 pm Hi all New to this forum. Just wondering if anyone has been through similar and can give us some advice. We have found a rear green-title block that we like. The people at the front own the rear block currently and have just erected a rather wonky colourbond fence between the properties. The realestate agent has mentioned that this fence needs to be moved and installed correctly as it currently isn't actually on the boundary line. They want us to pay half of this cost. As they technically own all the land at the moment, is this our responsibility? Or are they required to fix this themselves as they have subdivided? Its roughly 45m of fencing required. Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much this would cost to do, if we are going to be liable for half? Thanks! Hi All, see above image. The required setback from the rear boundary in my case is 5m, as you can see the shape of the site and location of the boundary is slightly… 0 5527 Hi Our backyard colourbond fence located on a busy road and it wobbles when cars drive pass it and when it is windy as well.
