Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 01, 2016 10:06 am Hi there, We are due to get our keys in the next 10days and are in the process of locking in trades for final services which we will do after handover. We are building a retaining wall at the front of our house for privacy purposes (as our alfresco area is at the front of the house). I am trying to make sense of the City of Rockingham's Building permit forms. As we do not have professionally down plans of the retaining wall, I think we should be competing the uncertified application form but there is also a 'continued service system' application form? My questions are as follows: Which form do I submit? Can the plans be hand drawn? Has anyone commenced a small building project like this before getting building permit approval? (I know this is a bit cheeky!) Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
