We bought our patch of dirt back in september and it was just a pile of dirt! And it has now been completed and seeking compliance and titles! They are saying that we are looking at 1st week of June but they want our official approvals done now as it could possibly become may titles! Its exciting!! We are so damn happy to be going through this process all over again and do the things we missed out on the first house! this one will be much better! haha Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ That is awesome news. Woohoo how exciting is that It is extremely exciting! Now we get to concentrate on colours and so on! Re: Henley - Sahara 40 247Apr 01, 2017 2:31 pm Awesome update! Did you put the pressure on your SC to get things moving? Re: Henley - Sahara 40 248Apr 01, 2017 3:02 pm cant decide Awesome update! Did you put the pressure on your SC to get things moving? Nope we escalated it through head office and later found out that they have put a hold on taking on anymore as they can't keep up with the work load at the moment Re: Henley - Sahara 40 249Apr 13, 2017 7:40 am Just a small udate - Colours are on tuesday! We have changed our minds so many times on brick colour so this will be an interesting choice on the day and the bathrooms, we are having a lot of trouble agreeing on what we will be using in the bathrooms! So this will also be an interesting to see what we walk away with! once our apointment is finished I will be able to update this with an itemised list of choices and their upgrade price Re: Henley - Sahara 40 250Apr 13, 2017 7:51 am Good luck stay! Just make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before. Re: Henley - Sahara 40 251Apr 13, 2017 7:51 am So exciting, I loved the colour appointment. Would you believe we made structural changes between colours and tender, added in fireplace and shower in powder room downstairs. Are you making any structural changes to the Sahara? Would you believe we made structural changes between colours and tender, added in fireplace and shower in powder room downstairs. Are you making any structural changes to the Sahara? Nope we are keeping it as it is other than removing the butlers pantry door, higher ceilings and we added the provision for a fire place other than that all is normal! So all the changes are a part of their options list so it wil be fairly straight forward Re: Henley - Sahara 40 253Apr 13, 2017 8:32 am stayxtrue Just a small udate - Colours are on tuesday! There were a few floorplans with other builders we liked more, but it just ended upbeing too expensive for us so we are remaining with henley now as the flooring promotion just gave us so much extra free stuff! That charcoal stain for timber framing sounds new as I dont recall it as being an option last year. When is your tender and contract appointment? Re: Henley - Sahara 40 258Apr 19, 2017 8:17 am spice girl Looking good. That charcoal stain for timber framing sounds new as I dont recall it as being an option last year. When is your tender and contract appointment? Yea it is new! As is the carpet and tile we have chosen they have only been at cosham for the last 4 or so weeks! So these are the ones that we have decided to go with We have decided to do our contract and tender appointment on the same day as we have not made all that many changes at all so we really dont have anything to dispute! As long as our colours are correct and the facade is correct then that is all that matters I am just going to do an electrical plan and take it into tender as we are just moving a few downlights and then adding in some power points and data points, other than that we are keeping the standard luxury light pack Re: Henley - Sahara 40 259Apr 20, 2017 6:07 pm I like your colour selections, looking forward to seeing it all come together. I wish they had the charcoal stain when I did colours in January, I wonder if they will let me change for no fee.
