To make matters worse we have to submit a landscaping plan as well. Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - Land has titled!! 362May 31, 2017 4:53 pm stayxtrue So apparently our developer approval is going to take around 14 business days!!! How?? How is it so hard to read a few documents this is really disappointing Ours was a 10 day timeframe but they did it in 4 days. Not a big deal it's just that we have been titled for nearly 5 weeks! So by the time we get to site it will be over 2 months! No Doubt it will be a distant memory as soon as we move in! I just hate feeling like I have to chase things in order for them to move along. Pretty much everything is done other than the Developer Approval then we can get building permits! Other than that everything is completed and we have finance approval unconditional! So we are all ready to go! In other news foudn out the highgrove has employed a company to start enforcing estate guidelines! So it will be interesting to see how that changes the dynamics of the estate as a lot of people dont maintain their naturestrips and thats infact a guideline Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - Land has titled!! 366Jun 01, 2017 9:04 am stayxtrue Emmz70 metricon is a 8 week wait from settlement you hear nothing until the 7th week then everything happens 5 is better than 8 that's for sure Yea I think we have been going through this process for almost a year now and we just want to see it come together, but in reality whats a few more weeks! No doubt our estate will take the same approach Its not a bad thing! It ensures that people adhere to the guidlines and then you dont end up with people who neglect to do their landscaping! We came from Berwick Waters and a lot of people had not dont their landscaping and it wasnt enforced! The worst part about it was that we were first home buyers and put a lot of effort and had no money to get it done. Then there were 2nd, 3rd home buyers who had left their front and naturestrips full of weeds and it looked terrible! So I am all for it! Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - Land has titled!! 369Jun 02, 2017 11:25 am In other news, most of our neighbours have taps and our next door neighbour has started and has his site cut done! So by the time we start he will most likely be all bricked up it will be interesting to see how many more start to go up in the next few weeks! Although its not mine it still excites me to see something happening! We were the same was awesome seeing our neighbours start then end With our first house we delt with an empty block next to us for 3 years and the one behind us for 18months! The sooner the better I say as its far less disruption! The blocks behind ours should be titling very very soon as they are completed so hoping they have started before we are finished to reduce the noise and activity Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - waiting for Design approval 372Jun 07, 2017 4:12 pm stayxtrue So I thought it was time to start a thread on our build to track everything that we choose and change etc... PLUS it will provide some inspiration to some of the other people building this design. So we are currently selling our first henley that we built 2.5 years ago as we have come to realise we would like some more land for our future children! The reason we chose the Palace Lux Q1 over the Palace Q1 was due to it being slightly cheaper, but also because it had more bulkheads through out the house such as the dining room which we felt was a lot nicer. Here are some of the changes/additions we have put on so far: - Raise height od ceilings to 2700 - Added pivot door - raised height of all doors on ground level - Upgraded to glass doors for all doors on ground level - Theatre doors and wiring - reconfigured the Kitchen - Door to under stairs (sliding in butlers) - Glass door from garage to butlers (looks better) - Square set to the whole house - Double glazing - raised height of alfresco doors to 2300 - Extended vanity in the ensuite and moved the window to the middle of the basins - added a window to the shower, openable - added 350mm width to the garage (its all our block would allow) - added a store room to the back of the garage (runs inline with the butlers) - Going with the Urban facade - Outdoor tap to balcony (makes it easier to hose down) - Gas, hot and cold water points to the alfresco - Upgraded the butlers pantry - removed the WIR railings in the master - Upgraded the heating to be zoned - added an alarm system - added the premium luxury lighting package - adding the window splash back to the kitchen, however modifying it to go all the way to the base of the cabinets - waterfall bench tops - Pull out bin (largest option) I cant remember anything else from the top of my head, but we also have the style up option so that will add the Smeg, pot draws and 40mm stone, undermount sink When I have more I will add it Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - waiting for approvals :( 373Jun 13, 2017 10:25 am I thought i would give an update! Well, we too have to submit landscape plan but we have been told we can draw by hand (different colours) on our house layout - just to have name the different shrubs we will use, a tree, big shrubs - using Legends. Just check with Henley or Estate and you could do it in a day and submit it. follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Henley - Sahara 40 Build - waiting for approvals :( 377Jun 13, 2017 7:04 pm Hey stay true who's the outsourced company managing the estate guidelines. we failed developer approval! apparently they want to know where our Aircon units will be situated!! we are beyond furiious right now as we will now have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks for the next approval! /quote] That's BS. Why it needs to take another 3wks I have no idea. It's just resubmitting the plans with what they want updates they check it's correct than approve. They should give you a list off all the things that need to be included so the next submission is all complete instead of sending several submissions with different updates. 4 14277 Hello everyone Please advice me how can I install mesh security window or we cab say mesh flyscreen inside while the pvc plantation shutters are already installed?
