However it does make you question some of these trades as some of the mistakes are things that they should know to do, a few walls here and there that are not straight Is understandable but missing some major fixings is a big issue! If someone doesnt have these independent inspections then they would end up with some major issues down the track! You definitely have a good SS. I'm so happy for you. If someone doesnt have these independent inspections then they would end up with some major issues down the track! Glad to hear it stayxtrue.. how good are the independent inspections? We had a terrible chippy doing the frame; the quality was so bad. In the end the site manager was so frustrated he just fixed all the defects himself. Most of our other trades are very good, the frame chippy by far didn't make the grade. The independant inspections are just to invaluable! when you are spending this much money on a house you want it to stand for many years with out later issues occuring! So far we are extremely impressed with our SS he has been excellent! How I wish I have this type of support on my crappy house. Re: Henley - Sahara 40 Build - Week 5 - Frame has started 573Sep 12, 2017 11:36 am well this should be a fairly eventful weekl for us this week, roof to be compelted, Heating Ducts, plumbing roughing and Windows should be going in. Im guessing that the electrician will be soon after and then the house can be wrapped ready for bricks! It seems to be ramping up and moving along quickly im guessing that by mid october we will be bricked and palstered so then the internals can begin so a end of jan/early feb handover date is looking good at the moment! Feb would be a nice time to move and March for landscaping Haha unfortunately for us our wedding is in march!! So we are definitely hoping for the earlier move in as we only have 90 days to complete landscaping in order to get our rebate! Plus our lease is up as of mid march so I want a bit of time fixing up the garden here to make it look clean and tidy so we get all of our bond back! it's going to be a crazy 5 months!!
