Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 04, 2017 4:28 pm It looks like my land titling is going to be delayed by around one year. I am thinking of buying a different land which is already titled or about to title to have home sooner. I paid deposit for Glendale (LE) in April 16. Would metricon allow me to change the site with the same pricing? I know site cost would change as it would be on a different land. However, would they allow me to use the LE price for which I paid deposit? Sales consultant does not seem to have a clear idea when I asked her. Anybody here changed your site and what is your experience. On the other note, if I wish to wait until my originally planned land titles, will I have to pay late fee (around $1,500 pm) each month from now on or would that be added to final price at the tender time? Re: Metricon - Change of land (site) 2Feb 04, 2017 6:26 pm We changed block, all prices remained the same for us, except the site costs. It's well worth doing although I should add, we did remain on the same estate Re: Metricon - Change of land (site) 4Feb 05, 2017 7:43 am We also changed blocks within the same estate but it was before contract. All prices remained the same. That was with Clarendon. Re: Metricon - Change of land (site) 5Feb 05, 2017 8:23 am Oninon It looks like my land titling is going to be delayed by around one year. Last year I remember I enquired about swapping a house, my consultant said it's allowed but required a whole new contract. So I guess it would be the same for land because they have to redo plans to suit new land. Pays to ask anyway, I wouldn't like to incur any delay fees. Especially for a year We were charged late fee once, then our land was delayed a further 3 months but M waived that fee preferably try to get one same size or bigger. Best of luck Re: Metricon - Change of land (site) 8Feb 05, 2017 10:41 am Oninon That's a good news. Was it Metricon or a different builder? No, it was Simonds Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35312 5 10471 2 2963 |
