Just wondering if anyone has built sovereign 50 or similar home by Metricon. Please share your electrical plan or suggestions regarding power plugs locations and number of downlights in each room etc
And in bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 (sizes 3.6*4.3m, 3.5*3.6m & 3.7*4.4m) how many downlights (13W) would be enough 2 or 4?

We were told you won't need as many downlights as the display homes - they are lit up like an airport.
We are building the Glendale 42. We have the following number of downlights in each room:
front sitting room - 4
main living area - 6
rumpus room - 6
kitchen - 3 behind island, 3 over island, 1 in butlers pantry, plus under cabinet lighting over benches
retreat upstairs - 4
master bed - 4
kids bedrooms - 2
Put in lots of powerpoints - and ensure some are in the open so you have access to plug in things like a vacuum, pedestal fan, christmas tree, mobile phone etc. Think about where you want wall mounted tvs, and at what height. Don't forget powerpoints outside too.
