Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 41Apr 12, 2017 8:30 pm Hi ninnygray When I started to read your thread and saw the picture of your block the first thing I thought was that looks like the Tweed River. We use to have a house on a block similar to yours in Vintage Lakes Estate, Tweed Heads South. Loved the relaxing times sitting out on the verandah looking at the views and watching all the birds. Our views were of The Seagulls Club and towards the Coolangatta Airport. I love your new home plan and facade. Your choices are amazing and hopefully you have fun with your build. Look forward to following. Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 42Apr 13, 2017 8:12 pm Everything looks so amazing! Now I can get on and think about colour selection appointment tomorrow - that is scary Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 46Apr 19, 2017 7:24 pm Exterior colours have been selected. We have gone with Colorbond Basalt roof and gutter (top left), Dulux Milton Moon for render (bottom left), Dulux Snowy Mountains for horizontal cladding (top right) and Dulux Happy Days for vertical cladding (bottom right) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Dulux Tranquil Retreat for all interior walls Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 48Apr 20, 2017 4:09 pm Noice pendant and exterior colours ninnygray Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 49Apr 21, 2017 6:06 pm Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 50Apr 21, 2017 8:54 pm Men, what would they know! LOL Is that a black sink and black tap and what colour stone have you decided on? I love your 3D kitchen ninnygray. How do you make 3D kitchens - what program do you use? Sorry for all the questions I'm just curious Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 51Apr 21, 2017 9:08 pm HENRY Men, what would they know! LOL Is that a black sink and black tap and what colour stone have you decided on? I love your 3D kitchen ninnygray. How do you make 3D kitchens - what program do you use? Sorry for all the questions I'm just curious Thanks Henry. The sink and tap will be stainless steel/chrome, cabinets are white. The stone is 40mm Caesarstone in Georgian Bluffs. It is a new colour and I have not been able to see it in person so I hope it will be amazing. The 3D image was done by my son's partner. He is a draftsman and has just purchased the software. He asked if he could use our plans to practice/learn. I was more than happy to see it in 3D. That is one downfall of a custom build - it is very hard to imagine what it will actually be like in the space. Now that we have made our colour selections he is going to go thru and add those to the renders. It is very cool Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 52Apr 21, 2017 9:50 pm Ninnygray did you know that Caesarstone has a showroom up here on the Gold Coast at Yatala. maybe you might drive up to see your Georgian Bluffs slab! It looks lovely on their website. Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 56May 09, 2017 6:04 pm HENRY Everything ok ninnygray? Long time no speak! Hi Henry We have just been waiting for paperwork to lodge with council which was officially done last week even tho Tweed Council have had the paperwork for 3 weeks "checking that they had everything they needed". Hopefully it won't take too long to approve. Just got this 3D image so using this to daydream at the moment Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Custom downslope build - Northern NSW 57May 09, 2017 8:59 pm Noice ninnygray. I love would of loved to have had a skillion roof but spent the funds on a block of land. Land is so expensive compared to a block in SA.
