Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 24, 2017 12:53 pm Hi everyone We have proceeded to plans with one particular company. We are having a horrible time. Basically we are not getting what we were promised. Unfortunately it is on an issue which we cannot compromise. And they are not willing to budge (even if we are offering to pay) We are seriously considering moving onto another company. Has anyone else done this? What is your experience? Any tips or suggestions as to what companies are doing good deals out there at the moemnt? I'm afraid we will have to lose our initial deposit. But in the grand scheme of things... probably worth it. What did you decide to do? We ended up ditching Coral and got charged $840 for drafting and admin fees. Took about 6 weeks to get the rest of our deposit back. We are now going with Hallmark. $6500 is an insane amount to be charged... did they tell you exactly what this amount was for? I would be fighting it all the way! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Hi all, Been browsing project builders' website and saw Masterton with attached granny flat design Seeing bad reviews from masterton in this website/facebook, does… 0 18306 As a tradesmen get a private inspector although I don't think there worth it in their profession themselves the reminder they serve to the tradesmen doing the work is… 3 27376 I would never build with Fowler homes.
