My site supervisors boss' boss was meant to be coming out on site last week to inspect the tiles. Though he didn't make it out and is meant to early this week. So getting over it now and hope they fix the tiles soon! Re: Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 163Sep 17, 2017 7:41 pm PVBuild Bugger Jess. Are they progressing with everything else still? Very slowly! Don't understand how the tradies / builder think they're going to get away with it? Good to know that I am not over reacting. Our SS said he is Metricon's best tiler. I actually think he is their cheapest Re: Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 169Sep 18, 2017 6:49 am Sorry it's the splashback colour I was looking at, I should read properly but was just so pretty the picture was all I was looking at too. But fresh concrete is beautiful too. Wow it is going to be a beautiful kitchen. Beautiful choices. Can't wait to see it finished. Nice colour choices outside too, are they still going slow over the tile issue? Re: Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 170Sep 18, 2017 7:14 am I walked through the Denver 37 yesterday in Ballina... holy wow it's a big freaking house, the master bedroom suite is like the size of my house alone Gorgeous flow of the house!! I'd definitely be pushing, I didn't see any finishes like that in their Denver display yesterday Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 171Sep 18, 2017 7:43 am ABuild Sorry it's the splashback colour I was looking at, I should read properly but was just so pretty the picture was all I was looking at too. It's funny because we watched the block last night and almost every couple had caeserstone for their splashback. I tell my fiancé we are trendsetters and he rolls his eyes! Haha Thank you very much for all of your compliments yep, very slowly! I just want it to be over and fixed already. We actually never got to a Denver display! Definitely will continue to push. Hopefully it gets sorted this week Re: Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 173Sep 18, 2017 4:59 pm Ha I've been thinking of caesarstone splash back too and watched the block last night and was like yep it does look great!! Ah thank you so much. You give me more energy to keep fighting. Re: Building the Denver 29 with Metricon 177Sep 19, 2017 11:37 am In regards to the tile pics, it appears that the silicone guy hasn't been through yet. There's always a small tolerance on the edges that will get covered up by the silicone, so it doesn't really have anything to do with the tiler. It should all look fine once all the corners and edges are sealed up with silicone and this doesn't normally happen till right at the end. The lack of planning to ensure even (or as even as possible) around the edges of the bathroom and the inconsistent width / out of square base it what really needs to be rectified.
