Wondering what people's thoughts are on adjustable vs non-adjustable piers? The soil test came back with reactive clay, so I would have thought the adjustable ones would make more sense to allow easy adjustment for any severe movements in the future? The builder has not expressed any concerns, I was just surprised adjustable piers weren't the default and was interested to find out what other builders were using?
