Hopefully things get tidied up this week and everything's not as bad as it looks

Our PCI has now been pushed out to the 16th because of tile delays. Im like an excited kid on Christmas Eve waiting for these main floor tiles to be laid, the suspense is killing me. Our site supervisor has assured us all of our concerns about cabinet laminate marks etc will be fixed up later, im so glad we have such a helpful SS. Its hard trusting people at Coral after how awful the experience at the contract stage was for us and our poor SS is probably copping the backlash from that and our trust issues created from it. He has been the only nice person weve dealt with so far. Cannot wait for this house to be finished!

So week 13 was last week and just the electrical fit out was done, im not sure if they got most of it done or not, or if anything else was completed. We didnt think it was worth driving out to check just for that.

Week 14 this week, our main floor tiling is supposed to be scheduled to start tomorrow -will wait and see how we go though, our tiler is super busy with all the other houses still.

Hope to have a better idea of whats happening mid-week

Trav said he was hoping to be completely done at our place tomorrow. So I’d say if that goes to plan, he would be at your place on Wednesday.

We wont be holding our breath!

Week 14's update for this week from SS:

"Just another quick up date

The extra tiles have now arrived and the tiler has fallen back to get a start on the MF and will complete all things regarding tiles while he is there .

Your robe doors have since been installed and I am waiting for a date for your mirrors – shower screens to be installed, they normally follow your robe doors

Your carpets are still down for next week and confirmed

Your cleaners all still booked and confirmed for early the following week as well as your window service and silicone work

Final site clean will follow –

Our projected walk through stage is down for the 16th and I am fairly confident that this date will not change

Projected Hand over date will normally take place 5-7 working days after that."



So glad that we will finally be getting our tiler back onto our site again

:O I love the pattern in those tiles, so similar to what we have in our Alfresco and front door porch.

Wow tiles look beautiful love the cushions too where is the bottom one from? Are they all the same place? I love cushions have brought so many all stored in wardrobes waiting to move

Thank you These are the 1st ones we bought and i love them. They are the Rapee brand ones which are in nearly every home store at the moment i think but we got those ones from super amart

Love the tiles, they look so glossy and clean nice cushions too! They will look lovely together.
