Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 421Mar 03, 2018 8:45 pm Some pics taken late this evening of grouting and framed up niches, looking quite good. But, we did find about 6 or 7 tiles that aren't flush, with raised up edges that feel sharp on your feet, some quite bad ones as you walk through the front door and in front of the garage door, the rest were also in high traffic walking areas. A little bit disappointing but hoping that they will get fixed up also found quite a large gouge taken out of one of the waterfall ends of the kitchen bench, so now I suppose that will need to be removed and replaced we will just need to have faith that our SS will get it all taken care of though

That tile is sticking up A LOT, i hope it can be sorted out, especially if it's in a main walk area, i could see it being sharp on your feet Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 423Mar 05, 2018 12:06 pm CC7 the tiles look so stunning! Every other little thing we've been concerned with along the way has been taken care of pretty quickly - SS has been good that way Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 424Mar 05, 2018 12:10 pm That’s so great! Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 428Mar 08, 2018 8:32 am Not sure what's been done this week as we still havent heard if Beaumont has delivered our kitchen splashback tiles in the correct colour yet. It has been 3 weeks since we realised they delivered the wrong ones and they are holding up our build. Kitchen appliances and power points cant be installed until the splashback is on. Not impressed with Beaumont at all, they should have overnighted the correct tiles up from Sydney but clearly just sent them in their usual consol shipment, which takes min 3 weeks to get up here. Not very good customer service on their part at all Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 429Mar 08, 2018 2:54 pm House is looking fantastic! How big is yr alfresco shame about Beaumont hope it’s sorted soon Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 430Mar 08, 2018 8:18 pm That's frustrating Kiki! Yes you'd think they'd bend over backwards to fix their error. Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 431Mar 08, 2018 8:57 pm Dani_J That's frustrating Kiki! Looks amazing! Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 436Mar 09, 2018 10:06 am Kikki - I have a question. Did you get extra noggins put in your walls for things like mounting TVs & dryers on walls? We are talking to our chip pie now and trying to work out where exactly they should go. Do you have a steel frame too? I vaguely remember that you do? Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 437Mar 09, 2018 10:08 am Thanks guys, its nice to get good feedback. I was so worried about everything we chose but its really feeling nice so far. My puppy dogs are going to leave some lovely paw prints on those alfresco tiles though, im sure! haha Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes Marcoola 32 QLD 438Mar 09, 2018 10:10 am symone Kikki - I have a question.
