Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 121Apr 28, 2017 7:29 pm Hi pEast, I tried going through jeldwen doors to have the pivot installed after handover. It was 100% negative as it'd cost too much and the credit wasn't worth it. So we've included the exact same size pivot door for $3400. We drive past the east estate on the way to ours and yours is flying through. The streets outline, gutters, street lights are about to go in. Have you got a thread on your build as I can't remember your colours you selected. Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 122Apr 28, 2017 7:30 pm pEast firsttime_homies1401 I sent an email to the supplier utf who do the flooring for Henley. I asked for all the ones in cat1a and they sent me those (winning). Hi good to see your progress - and a nice little collection to build mini Aegan 230 project I have finished my tender. The 2340 x1200 door ended up around $4500 including staining and a large Gainsborough handle[/quote] Oh which door did you end up going with??? I'm starting to wonder how much ours will end up being!! We have it as 3282 but at colours we upgraded to the tri-lock door handle Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 123Apr 28, 2017 8:51 pm stayxtrue pEast Oh wow! Those small timber doors tend to look quite cheap! We got the big long handle as part of our inclusion and we have chosen the trilock with the hidden leaver as well and were told it wouldn't be all that much more as we would be credited back for the existing long handle! I think Sahara must have 2 entrance doors and hence more credit for the door. You also have to look at the stain cost for door/frame. follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 132Apr 30, 2017 9:09 pm firsttime_homies1401 Hi pEast, I tried going through jeldwen doors to have the pivot installed after handover. We've got our colour selection in 2 weeks and are freaking out. Dulux wash and wear for us is an upgrade so it's just standard interior paint. We're doing flooring after handover as the the range Henley have isn't that great or it's ridiculously overpriced when upgrading. If they had beaumonts as their supplier might've gone with them as they've got a great range of tiles. Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 137May 07, 2017 9:56 pm Went to Cosham (again) to finalise our selections and conveniently met our colour consultant who will be looking after us next week. Had a good chat and went through a few things so hopefully the day if our selection will be a breeze. Seriously though those ladies do an amazing job answering the same questions and dealing with some frustrating people (us) everyday. Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 138May 14, 2017 1:18 pm Firstime - as you're building the same as us, the upgrade to wash n wear is $510. Good luck with colours - you'll been fine on the day.
