For us we would have be looking directly at the road and into the neighbours house across from us. Not worth it all Progress is going well by the looks of things Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 244Jan 25, 2018 10:47 pm Frame is done! Frame inspection booked in for Tuesday but after picking a few things with my untrained eye it’s going to be a long report. Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 245Jan 29, 2018 8:49 pm Frame and slab inspection completed today. Total of 28 defects in a 37 page report. Half the items on there I wouldn’t have a clue about. Usual things like noggins cut short, nails sticking out, extra studs needed.
Got a meeting with the SS on Wednesday to go through the report and we’ll see what they try and say isn’t serious and doesn’t need to be fixed. Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 246Feb 02, 2018 9:32 am SS is all over the report. We did a walk through of the house and discussed all the defects in the report one by one. Henley stated all defects on the report will be fixed and photos will be provided to confirm this. The results from the private inspections far outweigh there costs. On another note, we have our roof on. SS stated wrapping next than hopefully brickies will be on site in a couple of week as they’re from finishing off another job. Thanks pEast, was super happy when they agreed to fix everything and provide photos to confirm. Lovin your progress on your build. Finally the frames are going up. Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 249Feb 07, 2018 7:27 am Hi Firsttime. It’s been a while since I last logged in . Congrats on your progress! Your house is looking really good. I’ve always wondered about the upstairs balcony option: why would a person want to have their morning coffee staring across the street at the Neighbour?? Your view is quite special and makes having one worthwhile. You must be getting pretty excited about the progress, despite all the issues along the way. Looking forward to following your progress more regularly Scott Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 250Feb 08, 2018 11:20 am Just wondering how you got that fantastic shot from first level without their being any staircase yet - I would take one ASAP this weekend to the feel follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 251Feb 08, 2018 12:20 pm SAFA1 Hi Firsttime. Looking forward to following your progress more regularly Scott Welcome back SAFA1, To be honest this block wasn’t our first choice but we’re glad we ended up with it. At night you can see all the lights along the mountain ranges. Plus we’ve got the footy ovals, tennis courts and basketball courts to our west side which is why we choose the Aegean floor plan as it maximised our views. All our issues so far Henley have fixed this r are fixing. Slab issues were fixed on site and frame issues, Henley have agreed to fix everything on the report. If you haven’t organised one, I really recommend having an independent inspector on your side. So far for us it’s been money well spent. Good luck with your demo and looking forward to following your build. Recommend you check it out on a weekend as not to *** off your site supervisor or you can schedule a visit with him. Hi firsttime Is that ducts for heating/ cooling For frame inspection were you given your surveyor’s approval for frame along with invoice No we didn’t get the surveyors report when we got the invoice. I wasn’t too worried about that as the report would have been in Henley’s favour anyway. I just wanted to make sure that Henley agreed to fix all the items on the independent report and provide photo evidence of this. Our plaster, stairs, and kitchen is in and we still don't have the exterior fully completed as yet. But it is great to see the deliveries coming in Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 260Feb 16, 2018 2:10 pm Rachael13 firsttime_homies1401 Bricks have been delivered Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Slide door rail and frames for the theatre. But it is great to see the deliveries coming in Thanks Racheal, You’re right in that it’s great that there’s currently constant activity on the build. I’m not to fussed if it’s a standard or reverse build as long as: 1. They do a good job and the inspector doesn’t have much to pick on. 2. There’s a regular flow of trades working on the build and minimal down time. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110573 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11039 |
