It felt different walking through with just the insulation in but it felt completely different walking through with the sheeting up. The smaller spaces felt bigger and the bigger spaces felt smaller. Overall we are happy with it. I am so glad we moved the doorway to our bedroom further out and made the master area and study a parents retreat. It feels huge and quite indulgent! Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . Plasterboard has started! 470Jul 17, 2017 8:55 pm HENRY Your home is looking great Tamara! Your ensuite looks intriguing and cannot wait to see your selections coming together! Yeah I am looking forward to seeing it all come together, especially the ensuite! It kinda feels like a maze getting from the bedroom to the ensuite. I think it will feel different once there are clothes in the wardrobes though. Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . Plasterboard has started! 471Jul 17, 2017 8:55 pm MissLucky Wow great progress! Can't wait to see that shower finished. Yeah it certainly is different lol. Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . Brickies still hadn't started yesterday so hopefully today. Can you remember how long it took them to do your bricks? Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . I wanted a seat in our shower but hubby was dead against... he should shut his trap if he knows what's good for him Hehe too funny. Hubby wanted the step but I thought it would be handy for shaving my legs lol. Initially it was only 30cm high and when I saw it I thought it was a waste of time, but when I went back the next day the chippies had put a taller one in. Our chippies are really thoughtful. We have had a few phone calls with different suggestions for things. Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . Plasterboard has started! 477Jul 20, 2017 9:15 am Went and has a look this morning and bricks still haven't started Spoke to SS yesterday and he was under the impression they were there yesterday afternoon. Plastering has almost finished though How dare they slow down! Not liking it lol Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry . Plasterboard has started! 478Jul 20, 2017 11:56 am That is amazing progress! I don't think I got plaster for a good long while but perhaps the order of steps isn't consistent everywhere. Hope bricking starts soon and goes well! Brickies still hadn't started yesterday so hopefully today. Can you remember how long it took them to do your bricks? Think it was about 6 days in total over a couple of weeks Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10940 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13723 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1688 |
