We have a roof! 444Jul 15, 2017 2:03 pm I typed up a big post yesterday and I just noticed it isn't there. Does anyone else find that with tapatalk?? I hope I didn't post in someone elses thread lol. Anyway, bricks and plasterboard have arrived ready to go next week!! We are having 2 different colors. We chose a black and white scheme and the white isn't as white as I was thinking they would be. I am sure they will still look nice though. Love our black bricks though! Super excited about next weeks progress!! Insulation and sound-proofing is in. SS called yesterday and said there was an issue with the ensuite wall between the shower and vanity. It doesn't go all they way to the roof and the chippie pointed out that when the vanity is installed the wall will topple over as there wasn't much holding the wall in place. They have had to redesign the wall and now there will be a bit at the end that goes right to the ceiling. It will just look like a cut-out. I am not too worried about it. We got together with our neighbour this morning and started building the boundary fence. Iy is around 84 metres long. We got 10 posts in, so it was a start. We will just chip away at it each weekend. It is all happening. Loving it!! The fence on the other side is even longer. Glad they are in no hurry to build it. They haven't even started their build yet. Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. My neighbour went for a nosy at the house this arvo and they had started the plasterboard. Apparently, they worked half a day getting the bathrooms done Very exciting! Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10974 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13781 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4354 |
