We have frames! 374Jul 05, 2017 10:39 am Tamara1975 ABuild Wow that is a long hallway. Exciting stuff being able to get a feel for how big everything is. How many metres is the house? Yeah it is good to get a sense of the size. A few things are smaller than I was expecting but that is ok. The house is 30 metres wide. That is one long house! Will look awesome can't wait for more. I'm sure we all have moments like that Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. We have frames! 375Jul 05, 2017 9:18 pm What a beauty she is!!! When does the roof start? Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. We have frames! 376Jul 06, 2017 8:07 am charlibear What a beauty she is!!! When does the roof start? The colourbond is supposed to start tomorrow. I haven't been out there all week so will swing by after work today. I have been relying on my neighbour for info and photos and don't want to harass her too much lol. The temporary fencing is also supposed to go up this week Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. We have frames! 377Jul 06, 2017 6:59 pm Went out to the house and the roof is almost ready for the colourbond tomorrow There was only one poor guy working alone on the battens alone and he kept commenting on how huge the roof is. He had been there since 7am. It wasn't far from dark when I was out there. I hope he isn't still out there working by torch light lol. SS called hubby today and said the chippies will be there next week and the rough-ins will be done then bricks and plasterboard the week after I am assuming the chippies will be putting in the windows, front door and possibly baths? I have been stalking everyone else's threads and doing timelines so I can gauge what is next lol I can't believe we will have plasterboard and bricks the week after next! We only started 3 weeks ago!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. We have frames! 378Jul 06, 2017 7:03 pm So exciting!! It is kinda making my head spin a bit!! What is happening at yours? Still making good progress? Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry on acreage. We have frames! 380Jul 06, 2017 9:17 pm Wow, loving your progress! You gotta be too! Hope some signs of roof being laid tomorrow for some measure! Interesting to see that your "batten-er" has safety rails around the house.... ours totally did not and they were building up a roof nearly 3m high! Look forward to seeing more progress very soon! Follow our first house build here! -> https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86484 Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 12067 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14495 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4381 |
