Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry. Bricks pics! 489Jul 23, 2017 5:53 pm Looking great Tamara. What an awesome idea with the contrasting bricks. Your facade when it is finished is definitely going to make a lot of people envious! That includes me. Re: Modified Coral Cloncurry. Bricks pics! 491Jul 25, 2017 6:45 pm Swung by today and the bricks are almost finished. I am not sure about the lighter brick - it isn't as white as I was hoping. I really hope it looks better all cleaned up. I also freaked out a bit at the dark marks appearing on the lighter bricks down the garage end of the house but when I got up close (and did the spit on the finger test) I was relieved to find it was only mud. I walked around inside and was disappointed not to see that nothing had been done. I couldn't shake the feeling that something felt different but I couldn't work out what. I walked through the garage on my way out and noticed the cornice pile was a heck of a lot smaller. Went back inside and yes, they have done the cornices. Looks great and gives the house a more finished and smoother feel We also noticed over the weekend that the power points in the pantry were down low and would end up behind the cabinets. SS obviously got onto it straight away because the wires have disappeared and there is "patch" written on the wall next to it. All in all, very happy. I just hope the bricks either look better cleaned up or at least grow on me lol. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10940 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13718 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1676 |
