Congrats on the new house! I've been Anne's pics up in Bribie and it looks lovely (have you read her thread?) Hope this house all works out for you. H2B p.s shame about the neighbours subbies using your block. I would have to say something to them or put a barrier up if it was me. I'm so pleased our builder moved our materials off the neighbours block Happy at Home Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? When I figure it out I'll put my plans up and you can compare mine with Anne's to see how we incorporated a powder room differently. Paula Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? I would have to say something to them or put a barrier up if it was me. I'm so pleased our builder moved our materials off the neighbours block yes I have seen her thread but need to revisit it now. Well I think this house will work out, the Newhaven was just ar too big, we would have spent all our time cleaning the thing. After all there is just the 3 of us so realistically the Grandview is plenty big enough. Oh and substantially cheaper too! Not at all happy about AV J and their illegal use of our block, I will be making a few more calls about it. The other thing that I am worried about is that if one of them injures them selves whilest on our block we may be liable!! Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 28Aug 08, 2008 12:41 pm I just went through Annes thread and saved a copy of her plans which has given me some ideas hmmmmmm
though everytime I have an idea the price goes $ka-ching, $ka-ching!! Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 29Aug 08, 2008 12:42 pm anyone know where you can get cheap roman type blinds from? We want to do a quick jazz up of our current home befgore listing it and roman blinds were something we were always going to do for bathroom, kitchen and the loo but never got around to it.
ta Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 30Aug 08, 2008 1:43 pm Spotlight normally have roman blinds quite cheap. I think they're even on special right now? Go to their website and check might be the easiest.

They have really ruined the turf at the front which was lovely. I gave t hem back their rubbish this afternoon, basically I flung it back on their block. It might seem trivial to some but I am annoyed thy think they can use our block as they see fit without asking. I think it is only common courtesy to ask permission before trespassing on private property. Just found out they are building a 2 story which will tower over us and look straight into our pool / entertainment area grrrrr Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? I can't believe your local council didn't make them put frosted glass or privacy screens on those windows. Shocking After 4 years - we're in! Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Love salary sacrifice! Fully maintained and fueled for 5 years and takes a huge chunk out of my tax. We smile every time fuel goes up becuases our price is locked into August 2007 prices and can only go up a max of 5% so we are basically fully hedged. cheers Peter Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? In haindsight though the wife only wanted us to have one car, but after I had ordered the D3 she changed her mind. Grrrr original thought was a white van, mitsubishi express to cart my models and was going to get her a BMW 3 series, could have gotten both for less then the D3 - women!! My neighbour growing up was/still is a judge in competitions for flight of remote controlled planes in NSW. Car he uses is a ford falcon station wagon from the 90s - said it was the only reasonably priced car that fit the damn things! After 4 years - we're in! isn't a garage level with the rest of the house a given? pretty sure they 'came around' long time ago. if you have a flat block, the garage is usually level with the rest… 1 17528 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed.
