Perhaps my default windows are more expensive? You didn't upgrade any of them to boutique? Did they tell you how much extra the under bench oven and stove? Or will you find that out on Tuesday? What is a plaster nib? Is that some kind of wall? And where did you get that idea? I'm so afraid I'm going to miss something! Hi fademan, The price that you quoted for boutique doors above, is that recent? I felt that ours was priced too much (looking at older threads) and your pricing makes me wonder if we were given the incorrect price. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I double checked our boutique door pricing with my BC and apparently there was an error in their system giving and incorrect price and PD has been paying for the difference. She said this would have been corrected when our job was signed. Which is weird because pricing for those who signed after ours is also lower. She said they won't change our pricing as that is the correct one. Very ******* Re: Porter Davis double storey 65Jul 05, 2017 9:52 am ok so we are hitting our budget limit now, because we have to add the Hebel option. We decided to remove all the boutique Windows around the house, but leaving the sliding doors boutique. One extra going to note stencil, is that the prices I gave you are for single glazed boutique. We had a separate line item for double glazing, which would include the boutique ones. We are going to go double glazing anyway, so all the windows will be awning type, which is far nicer than the sliding windows imo. My wife also went to an A&L display, and the lady there said that boutique Windows are usually ordered by commercial sites and shops, not really residential homes. Mostly because commercial sites don't have window furnishings (shop fronts etc...). We will have curtains. No one will see them! She also said to consider low - e glass instead of double glazing. Haven't done enough research on that yet though. We signed the contract with 18points in the drawing, now BC sent an email saying it was incorrect and there should only be 12? Re: Porter Davis double storey 68Jul 17, 2017 3:57 pm Don't they use the same outlets? The air con is an add-on unit to the central heating, I thought. Ducted heating unit is located IN the roof and comes with 12 round outlets. Evap cooling is located ON the roof and comes with 9 square outlets. No. of outlets depends on the size the the house you are building. For example single storey 4bed will have about 9 heating outlets and 7 evap outlets Building the Madison 40 | By Porter Davis Re: Porter Davis double storey 70Aug 28, 2017 12:14 am Gio @fademan No. They are seperate unit.
