Hopefully that means your tiler did the right thing to begin with and it's an easier fix. It's now coming into our 28th week. It's just crazy everything has stopped till grout is sorted but surely the chippie could be there putting our doors on and handles....... and the painter could be doing the outside painting. I feel like everyone that told us we were crazy for going with coral is silently laughing there arses off at us☹️ praying for things to get moving soon Coral homes Modified Stradbroke 26 weeks Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 Re: Coral modified Stradbroke 1009Jun 06, 2017 5:55 pm Oh MS!! I hope things pick up again soon. It's so crazy how they can't seem to progress things because of one issue. ;-; Oh, I've had the same thoughts. Every time I tell people about my building issues, they ask me who I'm building with and when they find out its a small builder they've never heard of, they give me a whole speech on how risky it is to go with small builders and why didn't I try the big M or PD or something like that... this from people who've never built a house!! You just can't win. People always want to tell you how your living your life wrong.. Re: Coral modified Stradbroke 1010Jun 06, 2017 6:01 pm [quote="aloenyx"]Oh MS!! I hope things pick up again soon. I so just want to kick the builder out and hire my own tradies to finish it off... it takes too long!!! I also kind of want to check out much 'interest only' I have paid on my loan over the last 15 months, but it feels like a very masochistic thing to do to myself. A massive list to be done before Tuesday, I am not convinced it will get done I think I may be cancelling our holidays again..... Exterior painting to be done Paint touch ups Tile and grout issues sorted Toilet roll holders and towel rails to be installed Skirting and carpet to be finished in wir Hot water system not working Led lights to be installed Correct light exhaust in kids toilet Heaps of holes in the walls And lastly our house still has chicken pox so a major fix up with the paint plus all the defects that need to be address. Talk about overwhelming Coral homes Modified Stradbroke 26 weeks Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14489 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4381 |
