Must be a relief to finally be living in your gorgeous house!! its heaven and I think we are all so much more appreciative, we have gone without for ages to keep it all nice and new. On the other hand our brand new washing machine and condenser dyer aren't working, getting fixed next week under warranty, the car got bogged today because they left the bricky sand out the front and with all the rain it's made a major mess luckily we are on acreage we can go around the back so many little things that are minor adding up for our defect list. This whole process for us has been two steps forward one back. Buuuuuuut I love it. So glad we put extra installation in and the house faces north east it catches all the morning winter sun keeping the heat in. We only have to get blinds for the front two windows and a clothesline, then it's outside. What are you having on your windows.? Coral homes Modified Stradbroke 31 weeks and WE ARE IN Hopefully your defects get fixed up fast. Extra insulation is soooo worth the extra $$. We are mainly having curtains in our bedroom. We have a 3.6m sliding door and I think blinds will look funny and be annoying if we want to use the door. I bought them on ebay yesterday We put the same ones in our bedroom when we put our last house on the market and they were great (and cheap!). A lot better than the expensive ones I bought from spotlight. I have got the kids day and night blinds, as their bedrooms face the road and they have big full-length windows. We won't put anything in the main living area for now as they face the back of the house. I eventually want to get shutters in the media room though. I eventually want to get shutters in the media room though. we just got the white roller blinds from spotlight for $360 for 9 blinds and the front windows are 2.7m x 2 so I am unsure what to put there love the blinds disappear in the day but I do love the curtains such a big Decision Coral homes Modified Stradbroke 31 weeks and WE ARE IN That was a good price! Have you put the roller blinds in yet? I got new blinds in my office at work because the sun shines right in there in the afternoon and the blinds just diffuse the light and it is really bright. They are pretty much glowing in the afternoon lol. I still have to move my computer screen so it doesn't reflect the glare. Hopefully yours are OK. They are pretty much glowing in the afternoon lol. I still have to move my computer screen so it doesn't reflect the glare. Hopefully yours are OK. they are only for night as the grey glass doesn't let a lot brightness in and they are the plastic ones that feel like material. Happier than I thought I would be with them. Coral homes Modified Stradbroke 31 weeks and WE ARE IN Thats good then We just got the cheap roller blinds for our wardrobe and ensuite. They will do the trick. Our windows in the bathrooms aren't obscured and we will eventually screen them off and plant gardens but will need blinds for now. I could sit in my bath and chat to the neighbors lmao. And there is a full-length window as we walk out of the ensuite shower which happens to face the road. Yep, blinds are a must!! Re: Coral modified Stradbroke 1187Jul 10, 2017 5:09 am Iooks absolutely stunning!! Love love the wir!! Out of curiosity what insulation did you upgrade to? That didn't even cross our pea brain minds and the sales consultant didn't say a thing (and I started on homeone too late to pick it up)... our house is icy. I suppose not much I can do now but was just curious how far you need to go to make a difference I think we have the same letterbox lol C U S T O M. C O R A L. Besides the little things that need to be fixed I absolutely love my home. Please ignore the **** grout . Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4343 |
