Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 12, 2015 7:18 pm Hi All,
I thought I would contribute to the forum with my build in Baskerville in the Swan Valley WA. I bought an almost half acre block around this time last year. It took me until December to choose a builder, however, they weren't for me so I decided to switch builders around May this year - lucky they were slow and I had not signed my contract yet so I just lost my deposit. Anyway, I have decided to go with Ventura with the Cowaramup Lodge. I have added EssaStone throughout, but thinking of removing it in the Scullery and Laundry to pay for my Alfresco upgrade - but I will see. I will be adding some pot drawers to the kitchen as well as the horrible rip off double bin drawer (almost $700), but it is just easier to do it now - the sink will be upgraded to an under mount as well as the basins being upgraded to square ones. I will get some pictures put up of my tile selections once I have finalised them. Wish me luck! Re: My Build in Baskerville 5Sep 13, 2015 11:19 am The bin is so worth it. They are about $450 to buy direct anyway so not too much of a rip off. Re: Ventura Build in Baskerville, Swan Valley WA - Updated P 13Nov 29, 2015 10:18 am Hi All, It has been a while since i posted, but I have just attached the final plans. On another update - I purchased my stove yesterday as prices were about to increase by about $500 on Monday - I bought a Falcon Kitchener 90. I know the picture says Ringmaster on it, that is what they are sold as in the UK. I have been waiting so long to have an awesome stove, I can't wait to use it.. Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6884 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 |
