Browse Forums Building A New House Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1261May 29, 2017 9:10 pm Yeah mine is 11w, I love bright rooms and I'm more than happy with the number of down lights in our house. I even initially copied the display home layout, but the electrical consultant told me it was over kill so I went with her recommendation and it turned out sweet. Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1262May 29, 2017 9:15 pm Today I had a bunch of trades working. Fencing guys putting in poles, carpet guys put down underlay, render guys rendering my block wall and concreters completed my driveway! I only took pics of the driveway though. So looking forward to entering the house without dragging mud with me! They stuffed up her dinning room, so they added another row of lights to make it symmetrical. So now it has 6 in quite a small dinning room, even with all the extra lights, it's pretty much the same brightness as her lounge room which is larger but only has 4 down lights. Can I ask did you submit your crossover application to council or did your concretor do it on your behalf? I think you can make adjustments after installation so they grey water does not flow into toilets etc. Welcome to our new Metricon Henderson http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81978 https://metriconhenderson.wordpress.com Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1272May 30, 2017 10:30 pm M and T Driveway looks awesome and very wide! Thanks M and T, I never submitted any application, so I'll just go ahead and assume the concretor did it all =) Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1273May 31, 2017 1:15 am dulie Visited my aunties house. They look very close together? It was meant to be 3 in a row, across the "middle" of the room. But it was like 1/2m to one side... no longer being center. My auntie put in a complaint and their resolution was add another 3 lights to keep it symmetrical free of charge. Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1276Jun 01, 2017 12:04 pm Mt.view Does anyone go with LED batten holders for their LED downlight with M? Keen to know how much its going to cost. What do you mean LED batten holders? Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 1277Jun 01, 2017 5:29 pm Since now days LED lights pretty much come with standard plugs anyway, so wanted to see how much it will cost from M to only do the plug and ceiling hole. Then fit led lights in post handover. By reading your electrical plan it seems led down light with fitting and installation costs $110-$120 each. Metricon charges $56 per power plug, Melbourne Metricon won't cut the hole in the ceiling. A similar LED from Beacon Lightning is about $45 each, so that's about $101. A saving of about $20 per LED. For us it wasn't worth the hassle and got Metricon to all al LEDs for us. We got 104 x $20 ceiling LEDs, out of pocket $2,080. Although i knew M charge a lot for their electrical, it still gave me a surprise how expensive they are. We did renovation for our current place with LED down lights throughout but paid less than 1/3 or even 1/4 of the cost for those led down lights including installation and sparky. Guess one more item after handover... We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37143 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 19107 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13444 |
