Would be good to hear how you are going. We are currently finalising plans for council approval. So far the process has been pretty good, but has taken a bit longer than expected. As others have said, HH are accommodating with changes and are very good to deal with. Will keep you updated on our progress as more develops. The gas is now connected yay, and we get the keys on Monday. Hall and Hart were really great through it all, I'm sure you will be as happy with your build as we are with ours. We will post pics once we have the keys on Monday! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 123Oct 25, 2017 10:36 am Awesome to hear AllyBrian! Congratulations =) Good to hear you are at Council Approval Rennie, you are really close to kicking off the build, exciting! We're putting our updates in a new General Thread for H&H (Here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89920), our slab is due tomoz, assuming the weather chooses to be kind Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 124Oct 30, 2017 7:44 am AllyBrian 2078 Rennie Does anyone else have any updates on their progress? Hi all, we had a fair bit of a delay due to the connection of Gas to the house. No fault of Hall and Hart, it was the company who laid the gas pipes. We are very happy with the house and the final product, so glad to be in. Three of the owners came down on Monday to hand over our house. Such a personal touch and shows how much pride these guys take in their builds. I feel they are genuine and really do want to make the dream home for everyone, not just dump the keys and run. Hope we have helped a few people with insights on Hall and Hart homes and without a doubt we would build again with them in an instant. Hope to check in on everyone else's builds in the future. Was this given by a private certifier or camden council? Thank you! 😀 Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 132May 31, 2018 6:54 am Thanks so much for sharing your experience with H&H! We’re seriously considering them at the moment and it is so comforting to hear that it all went smoothly for you. Now that you’ve been in for awhile how has the house held up? Any post construction issues and if so how were they dealt with? Did you use an inspector along the way? Your photos are great and the light through the void is spectacular! Thanks! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 133May 31, 2018 8:00 pm Hi Jacks, great to hear you are considering building with Hall and Hart. We are very happy with our build and the after construction dealings we have had. We only had a couple of small post construction things that were sorted pretty quickly. We were rookies at the building game and only used an Inspector at the final handover as a bit of reassurance everything was built well. The report came back fine with no concerns. I would not hesitate to build with Hall and Hart again. Good luck with your journey. I have a really long hallway which is 1100mm W x 11500mm L I would appreciate if anyone can give suggestions to light it up with Linear LED lights that goes from wall to… 0 9096 Shade the brick with large eves.
