Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 43Mar 20, 2017 1:58 pm Yes all is going really well! How are you traveling, started any work yet? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 44Mar 20, 2017 2:05 pm Wow nice to see the bricks on their way up! They look like Chocolatto, nice colour choice =) We are very close to having the Hydraulic Engineer assess the final plan, then it will be sent off for approvals. We're getting towards the business end now =) Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 45May 08, 2017 10:47 pm Hi all, following this thread closely as we too are considering Hall and Hart Elyse 42/44 and wanted to see how everyone is progressing before we start posting our own experience. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 46May 09, 2017 9:38 am Hi Malibu, We are also building the Elyse, though we started with the 38, and have modified it so it is a few squares bigger now. We are in the approvals stage at the moment, and have just had all our appointments for internal selections. We're still very happy with our choice and looking forward to next steps =) Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 48May 09, 2017 4:03 pm Thanks Seren1ty, I am sure there will be some changes for us too, although I haven't seen a selection booklet for the 'premium' upgrades like other builders. At this stage we just getting the Butler Pantry and the Walkins upstairs plus a Balcony off the Rumpus. AllyBrian - Thanks for the feedback on your personal experience and also photos. Great colour choice. Looking forward to seeing the house with a lid on next week Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 49May 09, 2017 8:51 pm Oooh a Balcony off the top floor Rumpus? That's a great idea! We also went with the Butler's Pantry, along with a new store room in the garage and shifted the downstairs Rumpus back to create an open plan Kitchen/Meals/Family area. We've been very happy with their flexibility. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 51May 22, 2017 9:18 am Hi everyone, Things sound really good so far. However has anyone had their building completed by Hall and Hart and been through warranty etc? I am also looking to build with them. (only in the planning stages yet. So far so good too. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 52May 22, 2017 5:00 pm Hi Rennie, we are still in the build stage so not sure about the Warranty question as it hasn't arose for us. What I can say is anything we have noticed along the way in the build the guys have addressed and fixed. I'm confident if anything came up in the warranty phase in the future they would be the same. We have had a really good build so far, probably 3 mths away from moving in. Time had flown and it had been really smooth. Good luck with your build! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 54May 24, 2017 10:00 am Awesome to see the great progress AllyBrian! Looks like a beautiful house and it's not far away. Are you landscaping straight away, or waiting to see what it looks like once complete? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 55May 24, 2017 8:54 pm We want to get the driveway, fences etc completed asap but will spend a little time figuring out the garden layout etc. How is your plans going Seren1ty, started the KDR yet? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 56May 25, 2017 7:48 am We got moved into a different Council catchment recently, and unfortunately that meant different Council's interpretation of the rules. So due to some issues with trees, we are still in the approvals stage for a bit longer yet. Dealing with their Compliance Officer at the moment, and she has been really good. The selections process was great fun and the people involved were very helpful. The inclusions at selection time even felt generous compared to other builders we had previously dealt with. Looking forward to seeing our place reach the same point as yours! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 59Jun 21, 2017 10:43 pm Hi all, We are going really well. We have our kitchen and bathroom fitout going in this week, along with the wet area tiles. I will get some pics and post in a couple of days. Did you decide on your builder Rennie? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 60Jun 22, 2017 11:25 am Thanks for the update Ally Brian. Seems like you guys are almost done which is very very exciting. Looking forward to some pics. We are still deciding on builders at this stage and in the middle of the surveys etc ... the surveys and tests seem to take a while (boo). In the mean time we are looking at kitchen / bathroom ideas for fun. Also how are you getting these pics? Are you allowed in during the build? I have a really long hallway which is 1100mm W x 11500mm L I would appreciate if anyone can give suggestions to light it up with Linear LED lights that goes from wall to… 0 8768 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11012 Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 3608 |
