Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 21Nov 07, 2016 3:05 pm Yeah thanks for the feedback. Look forward to seeing your progress also Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 22Dec 02, 2016 11:59 am Well, we have just accepted our tender with Hall & Hart. They are very quick to turn around changes and provide feedback to queries. We can also re-iterate that they have fewer hidden costs. For eg. their prices include items like tiling to Alfresco and Porch, fly screens, and privacy locks to all WCs. Simple stuff that just makes sense. Modifications are also handled really well. We're now looking forward to the next steps. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 23Dec 05, 2016 1:17 pm Congrats Seren1ty. Is your land ready to go? Now you have the fun part of choosing all the internals. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 26Dec 05, 2016 7:43 pm Well kind of! It's a KDR, so the land currently has a big obstruction sitting on top of it, but no problem re land registration :p Yeah we need to finalise what we're after for internals, externals, and landscaping too, busy busy. Great to see they're onsite! It must be pretty exciting seeing the progress, well done! =) Keep us updated! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 27Jan 28, 2017 7:36 pm Hi everyone. We are doing a knock down and rebuild and really love the Elise 38 by hall and hart. We are strongly considering going ahead with them. We are just curious to know how your experiences are going? Also, is there a lot of choices with fixtures, tiles etc? Thank you Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 28Jan 28, 2017 7:54 pm Hi, We are well and truly into the build process and are so happy with our choice of builder. There was lots of choices for everything but also it wasn't too overwhelming. Hall and Hart have been really really accommodating to making changes we have asked for, they haven't knock back one request. We upgraded to beautiful timber tiles, timber staircase but their basic inclusions were really good also. Our frame is going up in the next few weeks so I'll be sure to add lots of photos. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 29Jan 28, 2017 7:56 pm Thanks allybrian I can't wait to see your progress. Thanks for the reply. It's really hard to make a decision without much info out on the net. Timber tiles sounds divine Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 30Jan 28, 2017 8:46 pm Yeah we looked at so so many display houses but choose the Sienna as we loved the void and wasn't like all the other house. Good luck with your house selecting! Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 31Jan 30, 2017 7:25 am Hi belindavermey, We are also doing a KDR with the Elyse 38. We are reviewing the architecture plans at the moment, and it has been going well so far. They are flexible and have been able to accommodate all our requests. We made a fair few modifications, but overall it is a great plan. We can definitely recommend them from our experience to this point. The inclusions with the different suppliers are quality options too, we will upgrade some things but it's a great starting point. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 33Feb 28, 2017 2:16 pm It's been a while since I posted. Our frames are on there way up. How is everyone else travelling? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 34Mar 06, 2017 12:29 pm Great to see your house coming along AllyBrian! How has the experience been of late? We have just accepted our architecture diagrams. So will next be moving onto all the selections. Lots of decisions still ahead of us =) Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 35Mar 07, 2017 9:30 am Hi guys these guys sound and look wonderful. I have a block at Riverstone and looking to build soon. If you don't mind me asking, what is the rough base prices for their homes? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 36Mar 07, 2017 9:45 am Experience has still been really good. We are getting our bricky started tomorrow and a walk through on Thursday so will update with more photos. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 37Mar 07, 2017 9:48 am Hey Markpus, a rough base price that's a really difficult question to answer. It would depend on the house you were building etc. We chose the Sienna 36 and I believe it's approx $380K. That includes our facade with the balcony and the premium inclusions. Ok, perfect... looking at something similar to Sienna 36 or maybe a smaller design. we have a relatively flat block on 410sqm. I would have to allow approx $100k on top of that $380k for extras etc? Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 40Mar 07, 2017 12:45 pm Hi MarkPus, All builders will have price rises due to increasing costs of labour, etc. So the prices will be slightly different as time goes by. A quick visit or call to the sales guys at Homeworld Kellyville and they should be able to give you a guide. They have been quite flexible with our modifications, including rearranging living areas, moving wet areas around, as well as items like extra garages and semi-custom facades. All mods were reasonably priced and handled well.
