Apologies if this is in the wrong spot. I wanted to check if anyone has been able to seek an exemption for a privacy screen on their balcony assuming they have the written ok from their neighbour?

Thanks We applied for developer approval without the screens on the plan and they were rejected. And we have vacant land all around us. We had no choice but to add them if we wanted to proceed. This was before we even got to council approval stage.
