Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 13, 2016 12:22 am Hi, I'm talking to a builder and they are telling me that windows in my bedrooms can be only 0.9m high (I'm used to 1.2m). The reason being that otherwise the Brisbane City Council might not approve our design because there is another 2 story house on the adjacent lot and we might end seeing their bedrooms. There are a separate set of regs for unit developments but they refer to windows within 1.5m of a walkway/driveway If you don't want to annoy the neighbours then simply get yourself some good head phones.
