Modified Burbank Macleod 299 84May 06, 2017 10:50 pm Also... just a question with regards to getting final drawings.. does anyone know how long it takes? mine had some changes ie. 2 metre extension to garage and combined the 4th and 5th bedroom in to one big master bedroom with ensuite. So there is some changes.. but nothing huge. I've waited 5 weeks since they have accepted my file... am I being too impatient? Re: Waratah Estate (Mickleham). Modified Burbank Macleod 299 85May 06, 2017 10:53 pm Ooh a street sign, that's exciting! How long until titling for you? I requested some changes to my drawings about a month ago and ended up following it up with a email last week as I want to get it all finalised before the end of this month, I don't think a friendly email to your builder following up your amendments after 5 weeks would be uncalled for Re: Waratah Estate (Mickleham). I did apologise if I was being hasty... I'm just trying to organise finance before my block titles and I need to get to contract stage. To do this, I need to go to the edge studio and select colours etc, but I need to have my drawings to get to that stage. I don't want to have to do all this at the last minute. I don't think I'm being too unreasonable? Re: Waratah Estate (Mickleham). Modified Burbank Macleod 299 88May 07, 2017 1:01 pm andyboiii Melt23 Ooh a street sign, that's exciting! I don't think I'm being too unreasonable? It would be fine Andy they just take their time as they might know about your land as well (titling and customers from Same estate) So be patient if your profile is all good your loan should get approved in a months time and generally in this markets where banks are raising interest rates and all, the max they will wait for 2 months before they re-assess loan with new interest rates, AFAIK land titles in the area are taking more time than what is promised, they actually sell it to you with their own dates but the story in the background is different. I have stories in Greenvale, where the land titles are late for almost 2 years and since they signed contract with sunset clause, the developers can legally charge them today's prices, or they give up their land and the devs sell it for current pricing. That's what I see it. Hopefully yours shouldn't be of that much story but yeah they do tell you July but its headed for December. Good luck. Re: Waratah Estate (Mickleham). Modified Burbank Macleod 299 93May 27, 2017 8:36 pm Today I visited the block and found out my gutters were done. My driveway will be on the left there and my block stretches 18m from that point! Hopefully not long until the crossover and footpath comes along then the road. August title is looking the goods! Re: Waratah Estate (Mickleham). Modified Burbank Macleod 299 94Jun 27, 2017 8:20 pm Colour selection last Thursday at the edge. Tess was amazing. Roof colour, downpipes colour, bricks and window colours. Render is the softer grey and garage door is darker. The brown piece of wood is the stained door colour I've chosen. Will be an epic facade. Brick colour is glenfern with an off white mortar. Modified Burbank Macleod 299 96Jun 27, 2017 8:30 pm Got the Smeg 900mm range hood and Smeg 900mm free-standing oven and cooktop. Also went for the AEG dishwasher. That splashback is pretty much how mine will look with the brick look white tiles and white grout to match.
