And you are still left with the same amount of leg room under the bench also

I was always under the impression if skirts fixed before timber flooring is laid you need to put the 90 degree angle? Yes. Henley just left skirting board lengths and we had to do it ourselves. Our flooring guy cut and fitted them and then we got someone in to paint them. Upstairs was done by Henley as we told them we were laying carpet upstairs. Also, another piece of advice - Henley fitted our hot water service on the study/theatre room wall. Unfortunately this is a long way from our kitchen, so anytime we want hot water in the kitchen we wait close to 2 minutes of running water before it heats up. I'm told by the manufacturer that anything up to 2 mins is acceptable, though that seems a ridiculous waste of water to me. See if Henley can fit it closer to the kitchen (I would rather wait two minutes, once a day for the shower to heat up than two minutes several times a day in the kitchen). Is it always that long? Is it all because HWS is too far from the kitchen tap? Re: Palace q1 Henley 30Jul 29, 2016 6:50 am Thanks for the photos now I can get theatre doors! With the water issue its the brand that they use, no one has anything good to say about them! We have the same issue in our current Henley and we had times where in the kitchen it had taken around 20 minutes for the hot water to come through!!!! Iv complained to the company many times and they keep telling me it's up to me to pay for a plumber to come out and fix it!! Another thing to do is put a separate small one near the master shower, my partners grandparents have done this and they have their big one near the kitchen I am going to request that Henley swap mine for a rinnai far better quality they will most likely say no but it's worth a try Re: Palace q1 Henley 31Jul 29, 2016 8:58 am Also another question, the flooring henley has quoted us around 11.5k for category 1, would you say its better value to get this done yourself outside of Henley? WOW! 11.5k for Cat 1? that's a rip-off... Is this for timber or just the normal bolero range (laminate)? Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! WOW! 11.5k for Cat 1? that's a rip-off... Is this for timber or just the normal bolero range (laminate)? This is for carpet and cat 1 timber floors, The reality is I think I can get it done cheaper outside! and better quality! I need to get some quotes I think Re: Palace q1 Henley 34Jul 29, 2016 9:58 am Flooring for ours (bamboo downstairs except study/theatre, carpet upstairs + theatre/study) was $8K carpet + $8K bamboo = $16K total, but we went for quality boards and carpet That includes 'less for cash' discount for labour.... Re: Palace q1 Henley 35Jul 29, 2016 10:02 am Zhenhua 2 minutes do seem a bit too long, especially for the kitchen.. Is it always that long? Is it all because HWS is too far from the kitchen tap? Chromagen (the manufacturer) did say it was purely to do with the long run of the plumbing from HWS to kitchen. He also banged on about water pressure and takes time for the unit to kick in. I am also not convinced the unit is big enough for our house (it is rated to only just cover our requirements, whereas I would have preferred the bigger unit with more spare capacity). I would ask Henley if you can get bigger or alternate unit. Re: Palace q1 Henley 36Jul 29, 2016 3:43 pm Thanks for all this information! The chromagens are rubbish tbh but I definitely think I will be getting them to upgrade the unit to a larger one for sure. Also i had another question, I am looking at the plans and from what I can understand the pillar in the alfresco is bricked? am i correct in saying this? Re: Palace q1 Henley 38Aug 02, 2016 9:02 am vigintitres Pillar in alfresco is bricked. Awsome, once again thanks a million for all of your responses and advice! I also have another question, did they leave any of the walls in the garage bricked? or did they plaster it all? Re: Palace q1 Henley 39Aug 06, 2016 11:17 pm Hi vigintitres, could you share more of your experience with your HWS? How about your Ensuite, Bath and P'DRs? Does it always take 2 minutes every time you turn on any taps in the house before hot water comes through? Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 20814 Our house started in VIC south east in January 24...
