Luckily for the workers the rain stopped just after they arrived and didn't start again until they had finished. We are buying our kitchen appliances today. We are getting a Miele dishwasher ($200 discount until 30/9) Miele oven at rrp and Miele induction cooktop is going on sale on Saturday. Apparently it will be a $400 discount which is awesome. My husband is currently on his way to the quarry to get some rocks so we can start the massive garden between the driveway and the house. So it will be a busy long weekend for us. My husband is doing the house drains tomorrow and I will be starting to plan out the garden. Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 69Sep 29, 2016 1:02 pm Woohoo how awesome!!! I seriously just adore your view!!! How exciting, shopping for appliances!!! We were hoping for a slab tomorrow but I'm not sure whether he will be finished by tomorrow. Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 73Oct 06, 2016 5:19 pm Thanks Charli. It's happening slower than we'd hoped but at least it's happening. Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 74Oct 07, 2016 3:56 pm We were told two weeks ago the slab would be down today. Today we were told slab will be next Friday depending on the weather. So that will now be two weeks since drains and piers were done. I'm disappointed that we have to wait at least another week. Each time there is a delay means we have to spend longer in the horrible house we are renting. Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 76Oct 07, 2016 4:51 pm Thanks Reg. It feels like the whole building process is a bit of a roller coaster of emotions. Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 77Oct 08, 2016 7:55 am Sorry you have been delayed!! I know your feels about living in horrible living situations whether be your horrible house you are renting or living with the in laws like us... I honestly thought we would have been out of council 2-3 weeks ago and now I have to stay in these horrible living arrangements even longer GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 78Oct 08, 2016 8:08 am AJB Thanks Reg. It feels like the whole building process is a bit of a roller coaster of emotions. It definitely is AJB...we all are in it together to share the ups and downs and move into our beautiful houses one day (soon)... It might help if you know what your builder does himself and what is contracted... My builder owns all the trades/tradies except electrical and bricklaying...if there is any minor delay with electrical or bricklaying work I won't be stressed because it is not (completely) in my builder's control... Hope we both will have slab next week Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 79Oct 11, 2016 4:10 pm Re: Our New Home in Gippsland - site works 80Oct 11, 2016 5:34 pm Yay! for progress I am sharing the same update in my thread..haha "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23908 Is it just a report written to give to the bank initially and it is based on what and how your payments are made up for, or is it a full service where they go out and… 2 5604 Skjm You might want to watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKx-bsOr2jg If that link doesn't work go to youtube and search for Zac Homes ACA I am really… 1 4023 |
