Thanks Reg, Craig, Horse and Kat.
Painting has finally started properly.
I have been getting some quotes for blinds and are probably going to go with these.

We ended up getting our blinds from blindsonline. They came in 30% cheaper than our locals. Blinds are so expensive. :/
Are you in Vic Craig?

Thanks Reg, Craig and Horse.
I have seen blinds online. I will have another look and compare the quote we have.
I'm not too excited yet. More overwhelmed. I'm working full time for the first time since before children, I'm going to China at the end of March and I have to fit in moving into a new house and cleaning up a old house before China. I just have to take it one day at a time. I won't have much time to play in the new house. I will be excited when it's actually happening. The painter seems to be taking ages. He is there one day and then has two off. I think the second coat went on today and the alfresco was painted.

More boring paint photos. It's nearly done. The lintels above the windows and doors were painted today and the meter box.

Thanks Cassie, Dan and Reg.
More painting happened yesterday and all internal doors were hung. The painter is there again today finishing off.
I can't wait to see what happens next. Electrical, plumbing, flooring, mirrors and shower screens, more carpentry such as door handles and door stops?
I'm not sure if we will be in by the end of Feb or not. But it's nearly there.

The electrician has been today. Yay! I love it when someone is there on the weekend.
Holes have been cut for each power point and light switch. Telephone points are in and tv points are in. Holes are in the ceiling for lights and fans.

Don't be jealous. Our slab was the 14th of October which was 6 weeks before yours. You are flying along.

It’s a good sign if Metricon are confident enough to show your house to others. The workmanship on my house was so poor they never would have done this!
