Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 27, 2016 2:49 pm I've been in my new home for a few months now and have just found a crack in the wall in the lounge room. It goes from the skirting board to the window sill. The window is a tall skinny window so the crack is about 20cm long. This has got me worried. The slab is a waffle pod. Has anyone else had this happen after a few months? I've told the builder but haven't heard back yet. I'm worried this may be a serious problem and an indicator of things to come. As he said it I looked up and there was a 15cm crack on top of the linen cupboard. I also have a waffle pod slab.
