As AM replied in your other thread you will need a decent sized beam over the doors to take the weight of the roof and/or the upper storey above it. Thanks heaps!! I can give you an idea of costs - we are paying ~$20K to remove the pillar and replace with corner stacking doors. This includes a 9m steel beam as extra support above it. A bit pricey, but worth it in our opinion for the look of a seamless indoor/outdoor area.
