Our cabinets are in and the cladding out the front has started. Next week the cladding will get finished and the stone feature wil get started. Also possibly some tiles and the internal doors will be hung! Can't wait to go out in the morning for a look see!! Then we're going to get our free council trees, may as well since we have so much land to fill. Oh and hubby has been speaking to some companies that make shade houses for his orchids... I don't have any time off between now and whenever the house is ready so I don't think it's crazy to do a bit every weekend but anyway.... This one wasn't fixed in. It looks like it's a bit too small for the space, could fit my fingers down one side. We'll see what happens there Our acreage build: Queensland: Stroud Homes Re: Acreage Build: Jimboomba - Stroud Homes - Kentucky 304 151Dec 10, 2016 8:40 am There appears to be one cabinet missing. We are suppose to have overhead cupboards in the laundry as well... But there's nothing there. Hubby has a meeting with the SS on Thursday so he is going to ask about it then. No worries. Hi Tamara, We just took our rates notice down to marsden. Even though the house isn't finished they still bill us. So if your receiving a rates notice you should be able to get them Our acreage build: Queensland: Stroud Homes Re: Acreage Build: Jimboomba - Stroud Homes - Kentucky 304 153Dec 10, 2016 9:32 am Jord_13 Tamara1975 Jord_13 Just got a call from hubby. Re: Acreage Build: Jimboomba - Stroud Homes - Kentucky 304 156Dec 10, 2016 3:05 pm Hi Jord. Do you how long you were in council for? Trying to do a rough timeline Re: Acreage Build: Jimboomba - Stroud Homes - Kentucky 304 157Dec 10, 2016 4:58 pm Tamara1975 Hi Jord. Do you how long you were in council for? Trying to do a rough timeline Not very long at all. But that's because stroud uses an independent company to get the plans approved. The council only approved our plumbing plans and that only took two or three weeks I believe. We've had a lot of movement this week though even though it's getting close to Xmas. Our bench tops are all in - all in Raven ? Can't really tell what it looks like though cause it's covered in that green plastic AND I was looking through the sliding doors like a creep and the glass was dusty which was obscuring my view! Haha. Hubbys meeting with the site supervisor was to discuss tiles and where we wanted them lined up. Most of the doors have been hung as well. And the skirting boards have been put in. We went back late this afternoon and were supprised to find they have placed most of the tiles - at least from what I could see from outside haha. No idea what the bathrooms look like as they all have the frosted glass which completely obscures our view. Don't know how I'm going to stand being locked out! Argh. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17609 3 48391 |
