I can't wait to see how the front will look when its rendered & painted. I am so pleased with the progress. The SS is doing a brilliant job. And he's easy on the eyes too ? I'm also impressed with the level of communication from the CLOs too. It's been a very pleasant experience so far. The lining of the eaves & garage was completed today & the walls were chased in prep for the wiring rough in. Looks like everything is still on track despite the bad weather we're having at the moment. On the weekend i shifted approx 3 pallets of bricks from the front to the back by myself and the backs of my legs are feeling it. The guy said he'd be back again on Saturday to finish it off. Waiting on the weather to stay dry for a couple of days so that they can do the front render, then guttering & roofing will be done. Fortunately for me 'cos it meant my external rendering was done. Yay! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The plasterer was still there when i got there. Got to talking to him and ended up staying until he finished & had cleaned up before i took pics. He did a great job. Also had an email from the clo last night advising that the guttering & roof are booked to be done by the end of this week - weather permitting of course. There have been some delays because of the weather. Apparently the guttering should have been done by last Friday, but because of the rain we had last week, the rendering couldn't be done which in turn held up the guttering. Hopefully things will get back on track now View thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776&start=80 Building SOR with Dreamstart Homes Customised Dream Dior/Summer Sensation https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776 Re: Doing it again 175Oct 07, 2016 1:17 pm Looking great. Thought it'd be a good idea to start it while the weather was still cool and before the next site clean. Unfortunately it has to be done by hand as no machinery can get into the back yard now.
