Communication from the builder has been great too and they respond reasonably quickly to questions raised. It has been a very pleasant experience so far View thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776&start=80 Building SOR with Dreamstart Homes Customised Dream Dior/Summer Sensation https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776 Re: Doing it again 143Sep 06, 2016 7:29 pm Internal walls are now going up. They haven't started on the garage walls yet, i'm wondering if that is because they're waiting for the builder next door to remove their scaffolding? If so, it could be a long wait because they haven't even started the external plastering or painting Ensuite & wir Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bathroom, Laundry, Study & Bed 3 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Theatre room & Bed 2 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bed 2 & Bathroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Ensuite Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ WIR Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Pantry & Kitchen Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ View thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776&start=80 Building SOR with Dreamstart Homes Customised Dream Dior/Summer Sensation https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776 Re: Doing it again 144Sep 06, 2016 7:34 pm They are going great guns. I drove past yesterday, I was early for the train so drove past the new slide at the park Umm, the neighbours will just have to move their scaffolding won't they? They might be politely asked to remove part of it temporarily so my garage walls can go up. That build has been rather slow, i was hoping the scaffolding would be long gone before my walls started going up View thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776&start=80 Building SOR with Dreamstart Homes Customised Dream Dior/Summer Sensation https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83776 Re: Doing it again 146Sep 08, 2016 9:22 pm Ok, so my concerns about the neighbour's scaffolding were unfounded. Next week: guttering, front render, plumbing & electrical rough-in, colorbond After that: grey float, white-set plastering, ceilings & cornices Lock- up could be as early as 4 weeks.
