My land developer has said they will allow soil test when they apply for compliance and client's can also get their banks for for valuation. Our developer is being a bit of an A$$hole. I have been hassling them and so has our builder but they refuse to allow us to complete our soil and survey until settlement. This is BS because stage one and two had holes in the ground before they were titled. Lucky you can access your block after compliance. Like I said in a previous post. You'll be building before us with the way we are going. So can't wait for next week to come round. Then the builder can finally do their soil and survey test and get this build moving to the next stage. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 168Jun 28, 2017 7:09 am Nice one PWCC, When are you expected to title? Is it still Feb 2018? Since stage 5,6 and 14 were titled together they've really pushed the next stages. So hopefully if they keep up this speed we should hit the Nov timeline. Yeah my bad tandh, I think I was a bit excited about our release being titled. Unfortunately bad news our settlement has been delayed because (surprise, surprise) the developers solicitors are late in supplying docs that our lender needs. This whole estate is a bit of a joke really! I hope it's not delayed too much and you don't get stung with any fees! But I know in the contract if we're late we get charged late fees and $500 to book another settlement. We should've put something in the contract that if the developer was late we could charge fees but that'd never happen.
