Looks a lot bigger than I would have expected from your plans XD I think we all went white. Thanks. Door will be stained. Can't complain much about kitchen except didn't realise that our base cabinet size was not aligned with the overhead. I overlooked the alignment after I changed the oven size from 600mm to 900mm then to 600mm. We had to take white base due to our dark flooring and grey bench top. Just hoping the colour combination works out well. Can't afford another mistake. Re: Our 1st Build in Ascot, Melbourne 107Sep 06, 2016 7:23 pm Oh, I had something similar with my kitchen, but the opposite, overheads for the fridge were further back then the rest of the overheads. A helpful H1er noticed it and I was able to correct. Our 1st Build in Ascot, Melbourne 109Sep 10, 2016 9:35 pm They have not started tiling yet . We are so pleased with everything so far. I am glad the pale colour ( winter white) just make our place look bigger. We managed to walk in today this morning. Loved our feature wall colour. I really love the feature wall too! Build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81011 Re: Our 1st Build in Ascot, Melbourne 114Sep 15, 2016 9:54 pm Not sure if I should alert our SS. I went to our place on Saturday morning at 11am and caught our neighbour's builder red handed. He was using our electricity to power up his cement mixer. I did questioned him politely and he said he could not open electrical box. It was a whole load of rubbish. He did changed to theirs after I questioned him. It did kept me wonder how frequent and how long have they been "stealing" our electricity. Did they even take our water?? Re: Our 1st Build in Ascot, Melbourne 115Sep 15, 2016 10:37 pm I wouldn't worry too much about it as builder pays power bill during build process, but some people have no morals! There has been a delay in tiling. We have been up there this morning but not much only wardrobe fittings and balance of waterproofing our ensuite. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 18027 |
