Charlibear's Build -Finally in!

We just have 450x450 tiles too, I really wanted 600's but the variation was over $10k so we stuck to the 450's. Hope I don't regret it too much!! It's a huge floor after ans I'm worried the 450's will look like little bathroom tiles!! Yours look great though and you've given me confidence that ours will look great

I just caught up with your build after a couple of weeks off line.

Looks fantastic. Do you have a settlement date now?

Thanks, I absolutely love our tiles

I was the same, there was a dark 600 tile I liked but I was not paying thousands for 600's so went with 450s with the look I originally wanted concrete look.

I thought I would have regretted the 450 size but I don't think it will make much of a difference in the scheme of things, once furniture is down etc. and now I absolutely love them

Looks great - good to see as we have gone the Magellan grey for our wall tiles (similar colour to your flooor tiles) and have done the opposite with our dark grey floor tiles / light cement, hoping it works out!

Can't wait to see yours come to life

Me either, the waiting is killing me! How have you controlled yourself! i see some builds where it's seven weeks and they have a roof/windows etc, it took us over 12 weeks to get council approval! We apparently have frames this week, will go down next weekend and have a look and take some pics. Love watching yours come together, so close now, good luck with the packing!
12 days!!! That's is so exciting.

How long has the build taken you guys? 32 week?

keys on the eigth? WooHoo! OMG you're gonna be so tired - but in a good way! everything is looking sooo good.
I almost wanna punch myself in the face, so I know it's real for you - after all the shenanigans...

11 days until we are home

Woohoo!! Can't believe how quick you are progressing now. Can't wait to see you move in to your new place!! You won't know yourself!! And I can't wait to see what puppy you get
D
Tiles look amazing! Haha I would have found it so hard not opening all the stuff that's arrived

Less than 10 days now. It's nearly here. The grout finishes the tiles off beautifully.
Looking amazing Charli!! Oh my god I can't believe keys are so close after all of the hassles! They have definitely got a rocket up their bums lately! I'm so glad to hear you're loving how it has come together. It does look fantastic. And wait until you move in- you'll love it even more! Hope the packing is going well!

So excited for you!! What a journey it has been. I think everyone will be having a drink for you the day you get keys

I'm not even at the finish line yet and it feels so surreal! I'll be looking over my shoulder to make sure my crazy as batsh!t mother in law is hiding somewhere listening to what we say like she does now

Thanks chippy, Budapest for your responses. We've gone with aggregate > I totally know what you mean about the ants here in Perth, they are a pain.
