Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 10, 2016 2:02 pm Hi everyone,
I thought I should probably make my own thread instead of hijacking everyone else's (sorry)! My husband and I didn't intend to buy a block until the end of this year and build and build until 2017, but our dream size block came up in a beautiful location for ridiculously cheap so we put in an offer in Nov 2015 and settled Jan 2016. It is a 4 acre block that has vegetation protection because all the beautiful native trees we have, I don't really mind them they create wonderful privacy. We have decided to build with GJ Gardner in Grafton, they have gone above and beyond to accommodate and have paid our initial investment with them. Our block is a basically a slope but the top where we are building isn't too bad, well a 1m fall but pretty flat compared to the rest of the block.
