To do this normally the slab would have had formwork added like a timer piece to drop that section of slab. To fix you would need to cut back the slab. Also the top of the frame would need to be filled in by the distance it was dropped. Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 19 windows still not complete 3145May 28, 2017 7:49 am Looks like there is a rebate in the slab but it isn't bit enough so they have suspended he door above it. I don't know whether it is easy/compromises the integrity of the slab to grind out a bit more to extend the rebate. I'm not imagining things am I- there is a rebate under there...? The rest of the house is looking great! Super jelly of those corner stackers. Wishing I pushed Coral to come up with a way to do it! All the windows are gorgeous! What window covering are you having? I hope it doesn't cause a delay but I have a feeling like it will. The corner stackers are sooo gorgeous!! We are having roller blinds panel glides across the stackers. Love the windows Thanks BB7, gotta any tips to keep them all clean Haha I really only regularly clean our sliding doors because of child and dog marks lol! I just use water with a touch of metho with a cloth inside. Outside I use a squeegee instead of a cloth. After we moved I got a window cleaner in, and will probably get them done once a year. Will get them done again soon, well once the decks and landscaping is done. Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
