Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Oh it's taken forever but time passes anyway so just gotta take it as it comes While I do get annoyed at the delays we've faced, GJ do build beautiful homes!! Wow, those black doors, I'm not brave enough to have them and not sure if I could handle them all the time as they are intense but lovely m That front door looks unfinished Those niche tiles are gorgeous!!! Makes me wish I went with a herringbone tile Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... We've reached lock up 3784Jul 25, 2017 9:15 pm If it were a democratic H1 forums plebiscite to decide your colours I am probably leaning towards the black as well! 😎 Hope there was an arm wrestle match involved in your decision! We've reached lock up 3785Jul 25, 2017 9:30 pm Yes charlibear, GJ do build lovely homes. We did look at building with GJ in Adelaide and here on the Goldie but they were a tad expensive. I love some of their facades. That front door I think needs a handle. I must remember to see if they end up putting one on. Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... We've reached lock up 3786Jul 25, 2017 9:47 pm Hello CB, My god I am so stoked to see your build take off, excellent progress and that pantry is a whopper (big enough to feed my hungry hippos ). I really hope they stick to there schedule and get everything finished up on time. In regards to the blinds I have to agree with Nicolawhitelaw, I prefer the white too only because we had grey rollers when we first moved in and they drew a lot of attention to themselves, when we went to shutters they where a lot more subtle. Best idea is to get the samples and see what looks great. Seriously looking forward to seeing that batten wall Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... I have asked for the blind supplier to send just normal fabric samples, I'm not a fan of the textured fabrics, I also am thinking a light colour so it all blends in Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... We've reached lock up 3788Jul 26, 2017 2:01 pm Progress report Hi Guys Sorry for the lack of call reports over the last few weeks, I have been away and also off sick so my apologies Anyway here is your update for this week Kitchen has been installed, fix out has been completed and painter to commence next week, renderer has rendered the front piers All is still looking ok for hand over next month Thanks I was just hoping for PCI next month that report says handover Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... We've reached lock up 3789Jul 26, 2017 2:42 pm Omg Charlibear I can't stop smiling! Super excited that you should have handover next month Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast Viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 I am so sad over him apart of hubby's birthday present was a no card that overrides everything and he used it on the dog nooooooooo Because the breeder couldn't hold him and we didn't think we would get the house until mid September. We just didn't have anywhere for him until then wahhhhhhh Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27... We've reached lock up 3792Jul 26, 2017 3:13 pm Glad to see it going. Make sure you let them know you want a PCI the week before handover and push it. They have a habit of just handing the house over without one using the excuse, in 3 months you can give us a list and we will fix. I stuck to having a PCI and made them fix a bunch of little things the week before handover otherwise I wouldn't pay and handover and I knew they needed my build handed over to get it off the insurance. The things I picked up for the 3 month check I'm still waiting to have fixed and it's been nearly 12 months since I moved in. Did I miss but how much did they end up trying to charge you for the shed earth works? ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Charlibear's Build - Week 27...
