Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 71Jun 16, 2016 7:10 pm Thanks brendantay, right back at ya, your design with the WIR before the ensuite is amazing GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 72Jun 16, 2016 11:23 pm How did you go checking out the dining suite? The great price on the timber wall surely justified some sort of purchase... Although, Harvey Norman received a decent chunk of my funds last weekend Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 73Jun 17, 2016 6:38 am I didn't end up going to look, there was an unusual amount of traffic on the way home last night so my 40min trip turned into 1hr 15mins I'm going to go and have a look on Saturday, hike my little one along. I've always over looked Harvey Norman as I just thought they were overpriced but glad I just happen to pick up the catalogue and found my dining suite GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 74Jun 17, 2016 3:32 pm We are getting all our furniture from Harvey's coz hubby used to work at the local store and we still get *ahem* really good deals I can't wait to go shopping!!! - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 75Jun 17, 2016 3:51 pm Oh man am I jealous My hubby has a couple of friends at our local Harvey Norman but they are in the electrical debarment so no help with the furniture but they have told us they will give us a generous discount for our white goods... I want to go shopping now but we have no where to store it lol... I think when we get closer to buying our stuff we will have to lay by as we have no where for it... Or we just buy outright when we get keys... I saw a gorgeous pendant today at Cetnaj on my lunch break today walking up to the juice bar... I am in love GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 76Jun 18, 2016 8:29 pm Good looking house plan you have charlibear your block is dreamy, the view and space is sensational. Love it. As for the batten wall, wow!!!! It will be amazing. Re the bricks; we just rendered over our grey stone bricks, if you can go with the blue rio I strongly suggest you do. Looking forward to following along too Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 77Jun 18, 2016 8:38 pm Tribe7 Good looking house plan you have charlibear your block is dreamy, the view and space is sensational. Looking forward to following along too Thanks Tribe, your render looks incredible I cannot wait for this batten wall, oh my word I seriously dream about, in a non creepy way haha. This build has been a long time coming and living with our in laws has taken it's toll on me. After reading bits and pieces of your thread I know your plan was to always render but did you not like the grey stone? I don't particularly like it but I want a dark brick and it's really all GJ offer without upgrading an even then there wasn't much to upgrade to, but I love the blue rio so hoping that upgrade doesn't cost me the earth or I'll be stuck with greystone Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 78Jun 18, 2016 8:57 pm Thank you. I went to the new Metricon displays at coomera retreat, here is the ensuite battening Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I got busted touching it like some weirdo but meh I don't care it's soooooooo freakin pretty . It's also in a McCarthy home at Hope island between the sitting and family room, it seriously make a statement. Yours will be beautiful. I hope the price is good for the blue rio, we had natural mortar with ours and they just looked rubbish. My neighbour has the same bricks but with off white mortar and his look sharp. That could be a option if the blue rio are too pricey?? Off white mortar to grey stone. Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner Northern NSW 79Jun 18, 2016 9:00 pm Tribe7 Thank you. You should have seen me at the display at Warner, North Brisbane... I was stroking the the battening for a good 10 mins I think 4 couple walked past while I was stroking it, I couldn't care less it was pure love haha. I think we have off white mortar grey sand... Or was it natural mortar grey sand... Hmm I can't remember... We could choose from grey sand or natural sand I think with what ever mortar or it was natural or off white or crisp white mortar was an upgrade so we choose the one with the grey sand... I'll have to try and remember what colour the mortar is. GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17511 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10404 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 |
