What will happen Is basically sometime before closing guessing like day before shut down for 6 weeks they will scrap the block which equals 'start', then it will sit until February when they will send plumbers in and start slab work. Sadly it's a trick they do to make the customer happy they have started but gives them time as they allow for the shut down over Christmas in the contract. Exactly what I was thinking.... 6 weeks wow! my builder is shutting down for 3 weeks.. Personally it's silly why they shut down for so long, my work will shut down maybe for a week based on how Xmas and New Years fall Re: Charlibear's Build with GJ Gardner 1559Nov 09, 2016 3:33 pm Oh god sounds like how mine started. I jumped up and down as so they issued a start date of 22 Dec and we didn't get so much as a temp fence or loo until I think it was Feb. grrr. At least your liquidated damages will start earlier if they miss your contract pci (which I sincerely hope they don't!) C U S T O M. C O R A L.
