Hi Natasha,
When did you purchase your block? I didn't get an email from crown land. But annoying to have it pushed back again

We registered our details on the website, and then they notified us when the land was released. We had put in our nominations for up to 3 blocks and that's how we got lot 160. Perhaps that's why I received the email with advertising material. Re: Riverstone Meadows Estate 24Aug 06, 2016 9:32 am natasha90 firebolt Oh so the original date promised was Oct 2016? Why has it changed to Apr 2017? Hope it doesnt get too delayed. Also did the land price increase since when you guys bought? It seems the prices have dropped by $15,000. According to the email received from Crownland; contracts signed before September will get $5000 rebate, being $20,000 difference to the original price. It also has it down as expected registration as June 2017. Ya i checked that. So are you saying from the time you have purchased last year, the price diff is 20k? Re: Riverstone Meadows Estate 32Nov 10, 2016 1:54 pm Hi Natasha, Yes I did, but I also got an email from crown land about registration being pushed back again. Not sure if this is just for 2nd release or everyone. Who are you planning on building with? They've got a 6 month tender, so we can't even put a deposit on the plans yet without a more definitive date; otherwise it could cost us a fortune if it's not ready to build on once the 6 months are up Re: Riverstone Meadows Estate 34Dec 31, 2016 10:23 am Hey guys. We are building in Riverstone Meadows in stage 2. When we purchased the land we was told registration would be June/July 2017 but they informed us it had just been pushed back to then. When we purchased the block we found out they were about to take the remaining blocks of the market and put it back on after Christmas for $50k more so that's encouraging. We live in Riverstone already and visit the land quite often, they are making very fast progress with it. We are building with Bell river homes. Look forward to seeing it all coming together. Re: Riverstone Meadows Estate 36Jan 15, 2017 6:35 pm Hi Guys, My partner and I bought a McDonald Jones House and Land Package in February 2016 (Stage 2, Banjo Street). We were originally told that the land would be registered in Jan 2017 and absolute worst case scenario with delays that we would be in by December 2017. We live quite close to Riverstone so we drive past all the time to see where it is up to. Each time we would drive out there we would be disappointed as nothing was happening. I have now called the developer twice (a few months apart) and on both occasions was told that Stage 2 won't be registered until September 2017 No idea what the hold up has been but it is exciting to see that the old houses have been knocked down and the trees have now been removed! Fingers crossed it will be registered sooner than expected. Re: Riverstone Meadows Estate 37Jan 15, 2017 7:02 pm Kate92! My fiancé and I are in the exact same boat. Same model and size haha Mcdonald jones package. Stage 2 but in loane ave. we brought in feb and we're told the same dates and everything. What house are you building? The Albany? Its frustrating seeing the slow progress. Just look at the bright side - more time to save |
